Melvin Edward Nelson, (1908-1992) Melvin Edward Nelson aka M.E.N. aka Mighty Eternal Nation witnessed UFO landings on his property in Colton, Oregon, where he lived as a hermit. Since he believed that the frequent visitations caused the location to become charged with a magnetic force and cosmic energy, he would gather raw minerals from the locations and extract pigment which he referred to as stardust. He would then use the stardust to create works on paper he called Photo Genetics, which resemble alien landscapes, planetary spheres, and nebulae.
